Let's see-
Got back from the *best wedding ever* yesterday. My friends/neighbors J&D got married on Saturday, in North Carolina. Drove down 9 hours on Thursday, went to the rehearsal dinner on Friday, wedding Saturday- it was amazing. And confirmed the fact that I am nowhere near ready to get married. But I love J&D, and their wedding was the most amazing thing ever. Their friends and family are amazing- I felt like I had known them all forever. So- it was an excellent way to spend my next-to-last weekend in the 'nati. Yes, that's right. I'm moving this weekend. It would normally be freaking me out, but I'm not really moving much stuff. *And* I found a house to move into that has *really* super cheap rent. So I guess I'll have to get a lawnmower. . . or maybe just a lawn-boy. :P Anyways, I'm excited about the job, excited about the move, kinda scared about moving back. . . but it's times like these we gotta forge ahead, Helen. (You look like a Helen.) I'm super excited about setting up shop in a house- I'm feel like I'm finally moving into the real world after pretending for a very long time.

In unrelated news, I talked to my friend today and she was having a really great birthday. This is news because she usually has really crappy birthdays, and I was kinda scared to call and find out that she wasn't having a good one or something. But we're OK here. The flowers that I sent her hadn't gotten there yet, but I think she's going to love them. (She told me a couple months ago that she's never gotten flowers from anyone. So maybe she wants to get them from a boy, but I do the best I can!) Anyways, I'm really happy that she's having a great day. I worry about my single friends on their birthdays- I guess just because there isn't that one special person to make you feel fabulously important. I try to fill the gap, but it doesn't always work.

I have a to-do list with like 28 things to do on it, so I'm going to scurry off and do some more packing and try to scratch a few more things off the list.
